Culworth House is a house and garden under restoration. After being a nursing home for some years the 5 acres had been reclaimed by nature in many areas. Now a family home, the gardens are being brought back to their former glory, but this is a long-term project! The old rose garden is now a cut flower garden run by local flower grower and floral designer 'From Garden to Vase'. This area is surrounded by yew hedging providing a sheltered space to grow flowers for floral arrangements. Here there are beds dedicated to over 100 dahlias, which look spectacular in the summer.

From the cutting garden you can wander down to the lake via the wisteria walkway and old grass tennis court.

Next door to Culworth House, 1 Butt's Close is a 1920s' semi and home to 'From Garden to Vase'. The large back garden is dedicated to growing flowers and foliage primarily for cutting as well as being a family garden. There are some interesting garden builds and wonderful views over the valley. Cut flowers grown in the gardens will be available to purchase.
