What's On Defeat the Peaks Virtual Challenge: 1-28 June Ever wanted to scale Everest, check out Ben Nevis or tick the Three Peak Challenge off your bucket list? Well now is the time, and we're here to help you to #DefeatThePeaks. How can I get involved? Stride out during June: whether this is up and down your favourite local hills, your garden, or your staircase. Tally up your daily steps to discover which summits you've conquered. Decide how far you would like to walk: do you want to challenge yourself to climb the equivalent of 'Ben Nevis' (22,000 steps)? How about an even greater challenge and walk up and down 'Mount Everest' (136,000 steps)? Choose how many days you'll do this in: whether you want to fit this in to a 24-hour challenge, across a weekend or over the space of three weeks, this challenge will suit you if you have been furloughed, are home schooling or continuing to work.
