Join Team Katharine on Saturday 3 September and test your head for heights on this extreme abseil at the National Lift Tower.

The National Lift Tower, based in Northampton, is an iconic feat of architecture. At a staggering 418 feet, it is now the world’s highest static abseil and is a listed building in the heart of Northampton.

Originally built in the 1980s as a testing facility for lifts and other specialist equipment, the tower has been repurposed for a range of abseil activities.

Abseils can be both inside and outside, which means even in the event of bad weather the team never have to cancel an event.

If you’ve never abseiled before, tick something off your bucket list, or challenge a friend/colleague, all while raising money for Katharine House, so sign up today.

“I loved every minute of the extreme abseil down the National Lift Tower. The professionalism of the team making sure we were safe in our harnesses – and the banter they provided – was second only to the amazing experience of the abseil itself. It was truly an exciting and adrenalin-filled experience.” Pat

It costs just £20 to guarantee your place and a commitment from you to raise a minimum additional £200 in sponsorship - and you will need to raise £100 of the sponsorship by 26 August.

The team at Katharine House will be on hand with advice and tips to help you raise your sponsorship.
