Join Team Katharine House and The Different Travel Company to explore a stretch of the magnificent Jurassic Coast, trekking for 25 miles from Lulworth Cove to Studland via Worth Matravers over two days. The Jurassic Coast is a World Heritage Site on the English Channel coast stretching from Exmouth in East Devon to Studland Bay in Dorset.

An ideal training walk, highlights of this spectacular trek include crossing the Lulworth Range, looking out for ancient fossils and, if we're lucky, even spotting a dolphin or two. You will also walk through stunning scenery to Swanage via Durlston Head and Old Harry Rocks before reaching Studland Bay.

The nights before and during the trek will be on a camping site, and due to COVID-19 restrictions, you will be required to bring your own tent.

Keeping you safe

Your health and safety is the Different Travel Company’s top priority, so rest assured that they are taking steps to ensure you not only have a memorable experience, but a safe one too.

We are all optimistic that groups of more than six people will be permitted to meet up by the date of departure, but if this is not the case the trips will operate by ensuring that groups are split into 'bubbles' of six or fewer, who will only walk with, and eat with, their own groups. The entire group will be limited to 20 people.

Social distancing will be possible at all times due to the open-air nature of this event, and the requirement for you to bring your own tent.

Furthermore, meals will be eaten outside, vehicles will be used with the same rules as imposed for those using public transport (ie face masks must be worn and sufficient space between passengers must be maintained). The travel company are also taking increased hygiene measures, such as providing hand sanitiser for use before meals and when using the minibus.
