The garden at Katharine House was established 25 years ago by The Simon Weatherby Trust and is today maintained by the Trust and on behalf of the hospice.

This tranquil haven for patients and families can be a comfort during difficult times and is much treasured and loved for its beautiful plants and a myriad of birds, which can be seen on the many bird feeders, and as a place of quiet contemplation.

A dedicated team of volunteers keep the garden in fabulous condition and turn out every year to welcome visitors and share their extensive knowledge.  Come and visit our beautiful, peaceful garden on Sunday 2 June.

Entrance is £2.50 and a delicious range of refreshments will be available, all supplied by the volunteers, and there will be a stall with plants for sale and a raffle.

All proceeds go to The Simon Weatherby Trust to support the maintenance of our hospice garden.

Dogs are welcome - but must be kept on a lead.

During your visit, you will also have the chance to take a tour of the hospice to find out more about our work, with key staff members on hand to answer any questions you may have.
