What's On Ride London-Surrey 46: 16 August 2020 - CANCELLED Sorry but this event has been cancelled by the organisers. Keep visiting our website as we'll be aiming to offer places again next year. We have secured two places in this year’s Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 46. Sign up today for one of these places to avoid disappointment. As part of your entry fee you will also receive a Katharine House wick away vest or t-shirt. Choose your style and size when you sign up at the foot of this page. We can also supply iron-on lettering if you would like that. PLEASE NOTE: this is a fundraising event and there is a minimum sponsorship target of £300 per person in addition to the registration fee. The Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 46 (remember, it’s not a race!) comprises a spectacular 46-mile route on traffic-free roads, beginning at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in east London and following the same route as the Prudential Ride London-Surrey 100 for the first 27 miles. It then takes a new two-mile route, which links up with the last 17 miles through London to finish in The Mall. Along the route you will pass Trafalgar Square and Hampton Court Palace. You can see the route map here. The Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 46 was created specifically for newer cyclists. It offers a great introduction to cycling on traffic-free roads and is a wonderful way to ride your first sportive. Riders will depart in waves from Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park from 09:00, immediately after the last start wave of the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100. They will finish on The Mall and will have a spectacular unique medal designed for the occasion. Please note: You must collect your rider number and timing device in the days leading up to the event from the Prudential RideLondon Cycling Show at ExceL London. Visit the organiser's Cycling Show page for more information. Start waves Once you have been accepted into the event you will be asked what type of start wave you would like to go into. Your bike All cyclists taking part in the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 46 must ride a roadworthy and permitted bike. Check out the Rider Info page for a more detailed explanation of the bikes that are (and are not) permitted in the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 46. Further information For more information about the event please check out the event organiser’s website. Before registering for one of our places you must read our Challenge Events Terms and Conditions.
