Join our Valentine's Day Balloon Race raising money for Katharine House

Back by popular demand: the 100% environmentally friendly virtual balloon race.

Raise money for Katharine House while having fun with family, friends and colleagues. So far competitors in our balloon races have raised almost £1,000 for the hospice, so why not join in on 14 February and send balloons to all your loved ones. After all the trials of the past year, let's look to a brighter future and share the love.

Balloons costs £3 and you can personalise each one by choosing the colour, and shape, and you can even name it in dedication to your true love. Why not go for a heart-shaped balloon in your loved one's favourite colour - perfect for Valentine's Day. You can also decide what thickness of rubber to use and how much helium to fill it with - both of which will have an impact on how far your balloon flies, so you really can have an impact on your balloon's success.

Your balloon will then be launched (virtually) along with hundreds of others, on 14 February from the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the world's most iconic city for lovers.

Race against yourself, family and friends

Why not buy more than one balloon, give them different thicknesses of rubber and amounts of helium and see which one flies the best? You could have mini competitions against yourself or buy several balloons for different family members and friends, or simply just buy one special balloon for the love of your life. The sky's the limit!
