If you are an experienced HR Professional looking for an opportunity to have a large impact within a small team this could be the role for you. This role sits within the Human Resources and Volunteering team and is a fantastic opportunity for a HR candidate with some previous experience to work in a generalist capacity. You may be a HR Assistant/Coordinator/Officer/Advisor seeking a permanent opportunity. You will assist with the delivery of a highly effective and responsive operational Human Resources service to the hospice.

We are looking to achieve a number of ambitious goals within the HR function which will have a massive impact on the organisation and its service users. This role covers the full range of HR advice and support and in particular employee relations advice; guidance on HR policies & procedures, employee benefits, recruitment support and ensuring the timely and efficient handling of queries and HR/payroll transactions.

To be successful in the role, the ideal candidate will be a part or fully CIPD qualified or have significant equivalent experience of HR issues.  You will also need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills to build rapport and act as the first point of contact for managers across the organisation. The role is interesting and varied and will require strong organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities and work to deadlines in a methodical and accurate fashion.
