We're also working with our partners and taking advice from Public Health England. If any other events are affected, we will contact you as soon as possible. Q. Can I get a refund of my registration fee and sponsorship if my event is cancelled or postponed as a result of coronavirus? Please see the terms and conditions of each event. If you’d like a refund of your sponsorship money, please contact our Community and Events Team on [email protected], who will make the arrangements for you. Q. I have more questions about my event, who do I contact? You can contact our Community and Events Team at [email protected]. Please contact us by email rather than phone as we will be monitoring emails on a daily basis. With the current situation changing regularly, we cannot guarantee that we will always be able to answer phone calls. We’ll also be updating our website event pages with new information as and when we have it. Be sure to check these regularly on our Fundraising events page. Q. If my event isn’t cancelled but I’d still prefer not to go, can I get a refund? If you do decide to pull out of an event, unfortunately we can’t reallocate your place and the charity will lose money. We're sorry but we can't refund registration fees. If you’d like a refund of your sponsorship money, contact our Community and Events Team at [email protected]. Our team can make the arrangements with you. Q. If my event is cancelled and I still want to donate my fundraising is that ok? Yes, thank you so much! Our local end-of-life care services are at significant risk due to funding challenges and we sincerely appreciate your continued support. It would be wonderful if you could still make your donation. Your support helps provide vital care and support for more than 900 local families affected by a life-limiting illness every year. That need doesn’t stop even if our fundraising has to be postponed, so all donations are very gratefully received. Q. If my event is postponed or cancelled will you offer me an alternative date? If you have signed up to an event which is run by a third party, such as a marathon, half marathon or cycle ride, we will keep you up to date with arrangements for new dates and can offer you places on the new dates. We regret that we are not able to offer a refund if you cannot make these dates. In some cases (for example, with many of the events we organise ourselves), we do have contingency arrangements and will keep you informed of arrangements for any new dates. Q. I can't do my planned event, but I still want to help support Katharine House. What can I do? Thank you!
