We are looking for a Weekend Housekeeping Assistant to join our bank (casual) team.

This role is vital to the smooth and effective running of the Hospice whilst we are a temporary COVID-19 Response Centre and involves the cleaning of all areas as directed including our Inpatient Unit, Living Well Lounge, toilets and offices. The role will include the use of machinery such as washing machines and carpet cleaners.

Requirements for the role;

  • Availability to work every weekend especially in July/August (8 am – 1pm).
  • Have a positive can do attitude and not afraid to get "stuck in".
  • Knowledge of COSHH is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of colour coded cleaning is beneficial  
  • Be available to do 16 hours paid training before starting
  • Additional shifts (8am-1pm) may be available during the week (paid at the week day rate) but are not guaranteed.
