The claiming of Gift Aid from HMRC on donations received from supporters is an important revenue stream. We are looking for a volunteer to operate and take ownership of the Gift Aid function, ensuring all reclaims are completed in an efficient manner in line with tax claim deadlines. You will liaise with colleagues in the finance and fundraising department as necessary.

Ideally you will be familiar with, and have experience of, the HMRC guidelines on operating a Gift Aid scheme, but this is not essential. You will have good IT skills and experience of working with spreadsheets and data inputting. 

We would like a volunteer for one day a week, as there are other tasks within the finance team that this role could support.
