Did you know that by practising relaxation techniques for as little as 15 minutes a day, over time you will feel the benefit of a general feeling of relaxation and an increased sense of wellbeing?

Regular practice of guided relaxation can assist in relieving muscle tension and reducing anxiety and stress. Other physiological benefits can include a decrease in heart rate and respiratory rate and a decrease in blood pressure.

Why not join us in these guided relaxation sessions? We explore a range of different styles from guided breathing techniques to guided visualisation and muscle relaxation techniques. These calming sessions can be done from the comfort of your own chair and no equipment or experience is necessary to join.

Please make sure you have a comfortable place to sit or lie down on and wear comfortable loose clothing.

Here’s a taster session of a relaxing body scan.
