Hospice proves it's not chicken

Local hospice Katharine House has teamed up with Brackley Running Club for its popular Chicken Run.

This is the first time the hospice has signed up to the well-loved event, and it’s now offering places for runners keen to take on the 10k challenge.

Taking place on Sunday 18 September, the route starts and finishes at Brackley Town Park and follows a gently undulating route to Turweston village and airfield, with a short multi-terrain section.

Community and Engagement Manager Cherida Plumb said: "We’re so pleased to be in partnership with Banbury Running Club for this prestigious event and are very much looking forward to egging on our runners at the 5km cheering point and water stop!"

8th annual Christmas Tractor Convoy for Katharine House Hospice

After the success of their new route last year, which included travelling to Banbury Cross, the tractor run team are eagerly preparing for the assembly of the festive convoy to take their tour again for their 8th annual event in aid of Katharine House Hospice.
