Cook - 8.00am – 2.00pm every other Saturday & Sunday

We are  looking for a part time Cook to join our Catering Team that provides meals for patients, relatives, staff and volunteers 365 days per year.

The successful candidate must be able to prepare home-cooked food with fresh ingredients and have an ability to work on their own initiative.  You must also have high standards of hygiene as well as being reliable. Previous experience in a catering environment is essential. 

You will assist in all aspects of preparation, service, washing up and cleaning duties related to the provision of a high quality catering service.

Flexibility to work additional hours to cover staff absences when required is essential.  A uniform will be provided.  Please note that an enhanced police check through the Disclosure & Barring Service will be required for this position.

Clinical Nurse Specialist in Palliative Care (Band 7) - Full Time/Part Time Minimum 0.6 WTE - Hospital Post

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced nurse with excellent palliative care skills to join our hospital and community CNS team. The post holder will work principally in the hospital setting but may occasionally be required to work in the community if the need is greater. The applicant must be prepared to work weekends and bank holidays as part of a rota system 

The team works as an integral part of the established multi-disciplinary team of Katharine House Hospice. The hospital post is based at the Horton hospital in Banbury.  We offer a supportive environment including external clinical supervision and education opportunities.  Car and driving licence essential for this role.

We are looking for people to cover annual leave and sickness on an as and when required basis. The shifts available are 3pm-7pm (Monday to Friday) and/or 8am-2pm (Saturday and Sunday).

Our Catering team provides meals for patients, relatives, staff and volunteers 365 days per year.  You will assist in all aspects of preparation, service, washing-up and cleaning duties related to the provision of a high quality catering service.

Applicants must be able to provide a light lunch or supper by preparing simple home-cooked food using fresh ingredients. Ability to work on your own initiative in a busy environment is essential.  You must also have high standards of hygiene as well as being reliable and willing to work at short notice. Previous experience in a catering environment is preferable.

Bank Staff Nurses (Band 5)

Registered Nurses are required for zero hour contracts to cover periods of sickness and holiday. These contracts allow flexibility for you to say when you wish to work but require reasonable availability to respond to our needs.

Most of the work is in our inpatient area where shifts are operated. This is also a fantastic opportunity to develop skills in palliative care. Please note that an enhanced police check through the Disclosure & Barring Service will be required for these roles.
