Within the HR department, we undertake a range of activities to deliver the HR strategy for the Hospice and to ensure that we support all aspects of the employee/volunteer lifecycle. 

There are numerous tasks that a volunteer can assist with, but, we would particularly like support with further development of our new HR database, implementing aspects of the volunteer strategy and introducing our staff and volunteer survey action plan. 

We anticipate that the work would take approximately one day per week of volunteer time. Ideally, this would be on a Monday. However, other days are possible. 

We would like you to have good IT skills and experience of working with spreadsheets and data input, be committed to working in a professional manner alongside colleagues and volunteers and to uphold our policies and procedures. You must have a good understanding of confidentiality and be self-motivated.
