Did you know?

Over the years, items knitted by the fabulous knitters and crocheters that support the hospice have raised thousands in vital funds to support people living with life-limiting illnesses.

Each year armies of crafty supporters have made clothes, toys and novelty chocolate holders for which supporters have given donations.

Changing times

However, as a result of the COVID pandemic, we are no longer accepting donations of knitted goods at the hospice. Sadly this means that we'll no longer be coordinating the Christmas and Easter knits through the hospice.

We are also not accepting donations of knitting chocolate holders.

But you can still help us!

If you would still like to make Christmas or Easter knits to raise money for us, that's great. Thank you!

Although we can't accept gifts of knitted novelties at the hospice, we ask, if you are able, that you talk to a local shop or pub about taking these directly from you instead of going through us.

The venue that takes the knits from you can either send the money collected straight to us or return it to you for you to send via an online donation or a cheque.

If needed, we can supply you with a collecting tin to place with the knits. Please get in touch at [email protected]
