This year our Lights of Love event is changing

As a community, the pandemic has hit us hard. Many of us who have lost family and friends have been unable to come together to grieve at funerals or memorial events. At Katharine House, we recognise this and will be holding a Lights of Love event on 2 December to bring our Banbury community together to remember those we have lost.

This year Lights of Love will involve more places of worship than ever before to enable everyone who has lost loved ones, both during and prior to the pandemic, to safely gather and celebrate their lives.

The event will be held on 2 December commencing with a tree dedication from 7pm (final details to be confirmed). Stars will be available on the evening for you to write your dedication in memory of a loved one, to take home or display at a place of worship.

Lights of Love 2020

During the lockdown of winter 2020 we created a special video of the Lights of Love service, which was held in the chapel at Katharine House under Covid restrictions. Please watch it to get a flavour of what a Lights of Love service is all about. We very much hope to see you at one of our services this Christmas.
