For patients and families Visiting hours Visiting hours during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic In line with all health care providers, we regret that the hospice is currently closed to regular visiting. During these difficult times, visits to a dying patient are currently limited to one nominated immediate family member or carer, which must be pre-arranged with our clinical team. This is essential as a precautionary measure to protect our vulnerable patients against the risk of COVID-19. Katharine House is following guidance from the Government and Public Health England and regret that we have had to take this decision. If you have any questions, please contact us on 01295 811 866. Visiting hours before the pandemic There are no regular visiting hours at the hospice. Families are welcome to visit at any time of the day or night. Children are very much encouraged to visit too. We also have a children's playroom with toys and games if they would prefer to spend some time there. If patients would like to see their pets, they are very welcome too. If you'd like to visit a friend or family member and would like more information on visiting, please contact us on 01295 811 866.
