Hospitality Volunteers

We're looking for volunteers to serve teas, coffees and cakes on our inpatient unit.  You'll need to be happy to handle a trolley and to stop for a chat with patients and visitors.  As part of our catering team you may also help serve up meals and make sure everything gets cleared up afterwards.  You'll need to be friendly and sensitive to the needs of patients and visitors and to enjoy working as part of a team.  For further details please download the role description.

Daily, 10am - 2pm or 2.30 - 6.30pm (with some flexibility)

Bathing Assistant

Bathing Assistants work with nursing staff to offer baths to day patients who may not be able to have a bath at home. You'll need to work closely with staff in the day hospice and be able to offer sensitive and discreet care to patients. You will need a good level of fitness in order to operate and clean equipment. Ward Clerks

Ward Clerks are based in our inpatient unit where they offer a welcome to visitors and administrative support to staff. This role includes contact with patients and families so Ward Clerks need to be sensitive and friendly as well as highly organised in dealing with messages and administrative tasks. We currently have vacancies for Ward Clerks on:

Every other Thursday: 5.30 - 8.30pm

Every other Friday:  5.30-8.30pm

We would also be interested in hearing from people who would like to volunteer as Ward Clerks on Saturdays and Sundays
