Claridges Barn is set among 3½ acres of family garden, wood and meadow hewn from a barley field on limestone brash.

Situated on top of the Cotswolds, it is open to all weathers, but there are rewarding views and dog walking opportunities on hand. The garden has a large vegetable, cutting and fruit garden together with a wildlife pond and six greenhouses, all loved by rabbits, deer and squirrel.

Take the B4026 from Chipping Norton towards Charlbury. After 3 miles turn right to Dean and Claridges Barn is 200 metres on the right. Please park on the verge.

Opening time: 2–6pm (last entry 5pm).

Entry fee: Adults: £5; Children (under 16 years): Free.

Book your tickets below or pay on the day. Online ticket sales will close on Thursday 13 June at midday; thereafter you will be able to pay for them on arrival at Claridges Barn.

Parking: There is plenty of parking along the verge of the lane leading to the entrance drive to the barn.

Accessibility: Mainly level site with flagstone and gravel paths, flat lawns and some uneven steps. The gravel driveway can be hard work for wheelchair users in which case continue along the drive to the house, drop off the wheelchair use and then return to park the car with the others.

Dogs: Yes, on lead please. There is a walk for them nearby to a wild meadow and neolithic stone called the Hawkstone. 

Refreshments: Tea, coffee and cordials together with cream teas and cakes will be available.
