How much does it cost to take part?

Expand

The registration fee for early birds is £15 adults and £8 for 8-17 year olds. The Early Bird offer ends 7th May. The cost will be £20 per adult and £10 younger walks thereafter until midday on 16th June 2019.

Do I get a free t-shirt?

Expand

This year we are not offering free t-shirts for midnight walk. We want to keep the cost of the event as low and as affordable a possible, so we cannot provide free t-shirts. However, we will have some special Midnight walk 2019 t-shirts available for you to purchase at a small cost – we know how much some of you like collecting the t-shirts. You can purchase these when you sign up and pick them up on the night.

If we can secure a sponsor for the t-shirts, this may change. If this is the case, we will of course refund the costs of any t-shirts already purchased.

Do I have to raise a certain amount of money?

Expand

We ask each participant to raise as much sponsorship as possible, as all the sponsorship will go towards supporting our community team this year. The minimum you agree to raise when signing up for Midnight Walk is £30 per person.

The cost of each nurse per day is £175. We aim to raise £65,000 through this year’s Midnight Walk as this can is the cost of having nursing support available seven days a week, 365 days a year.

You will get a Sponsorship Form in your registration pack, and you can email us at any time to get extra copies at [email protected]. Please ensure everyone’s details are added and ensure that you get your sponsors to tick the gift aid box. Gift Aid cannot be claimed without these.

What else can I do to raise money?

Expand

Many employers will match fund the amounts their employees fundraise. Why not speak with your employer and ask them if they will do this. It is quick and simple and won’t cost you a thing. Usually all they require is a letter from us confirming the amount you have raised, and we will happily provide you with this. Please contact us on [email protected] to let us know you intend to do this.
