Gareth Nichols, manager of TSB in Banbury, is taking on an epic motorcycle ride to raise money for Katharine House.

Setting off from the original TSB bank in Ruthwell, Scotland, Gareth will ride the specially-made motorbike and sidecar past 11 TSB branches before arriving at Katharine House Hospice a week later.

The adventure is the latest in a long line of fantastic fundraising events by Gareth and his team. From cricket matches, and sponsored beard-shaving, to cake sales and marshalling at our Midnight Walk (which take place on 24 June by the way... click here to sign up!), the team have raised thousands of pounds for people in our community facing life-limiting illness.

For this next challenge, Gareth needs your help. Accompanying him on the trip will be a giant teddy bear, kindly donated by The Entertainer toy shop in Banbury, and we're asking you to give him a name. To submit your name, simply send an email with your suggestion, along with your name, to [email protected] and we'll pick the our favourite on Friday 12 June.

If you'd like to support Gareth, please pop in to the Banbury branch of TSB and make a donation, or just wish him luck!
