Gifts in kind are non-financial donations to a charity, which provides the charity with essential goods and services free of charge. Gifts in kind help a charity keep their costs down and can range from a number of things, such as:

  • services
  • products
  • building use
  • equipment
  • furniture
  • vehicles
  • raffle and auction prizes.

Gifts in kind can help save valuable resources and enable us to fundraise even more effectively, meaning that even more money can be spent on our vital work.

For many years, Jacobs Douwe Egberts has regularly supplied the hospice with free tea and coffee for our staff and patients. During difficult times, a cup of tea and a listening ear can make all the difference to our patients and their loved ones. Cleenol and Karcher donate cleaning products and equipment for our housekeeping team and saves the hospice over £10,000 a year, while also helping to keep our hospice a safe and clean place to visit.
