Welcome to the Santa Fun Run FAQs page. We hope you will find the answers to all your questions here. If you are still in doubt about anything, please get in touch with the fundraising team by emailing [email protected].

What will I need?

  • Safety pins: you will receive your running number on the day and will need to fasten it to your Santa suit.
  • Running shoes: please wear appropriate footwear that you don’t mind getting wet and muddy. Spiceball Park can get a bit soggy in the winter.
  • A full water bottle: we will offer free refills, but in the interests of environmental protection, we will not supply free disposable plastic bottles.

Important! Picking up your Santa suit and runner number

We have two opportunities for you to pick up your Santa suit from the hospice. Please do not come at any other time to pick up your suit. The hospice is still operating limited visitor numbers and your suit will not be avilable for collection at any point other than the designated times below.

Please bring proof of registration with you.

Tuesday 29 November: 3-8pm

Venue: Katharine House Hospice, Aynho Road, Adderbury

Wednesday 30 November: 3-8pm

Venue: Katharine House Hospice, Aynho Road, Adderbury

Can't make the collection date?

You can ask a friend or family member to pick up your suit for you. Please give them your proof of registration.

Still can’t make the collection date?

There will be an opportunity to pick up your suit between 10 and 10.30am at Spiceball Park on Sunday 4 December before the run starts.

We would be very grateful if you could help us by picking up your suit at the designated times on 29 or 30 November so we can keep queues to a minimum on the day of the Santa Run.

What time does the Santa Fun Run start?

Registration opens from 10am. The run will start at approximately 11am.

Can children run the course?

Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Can I bring my dog along?

Yes please! Although please make sure your dog is well behaved and on a lead at all times.

Is there parking?

There is limited parking at Spiceball. We recommend you park in nearby Castle Quay.

Will there be food?

We’ll have hot snacks on sale. Please note that free bottles of water will not be provided. You must bring your own water bottle – free refills will be available.

How can I raise my sponsorship money?

Here's a link to our Toolkit page, which includes a fundraising pack and sponsorship form to help you raise your money.

Is there anything else I can do to help?

We can always use more volunteers on the day to help with the smooth running of the event. If you know of anyone who is interested, please ask them to email [email protected].

Thank you to our sponsor

The Midcounties Co-operative for sponsoring the runners' numbers
